Mr Brightmove, Mike had the experience of a driving assessment in a Queen Mary Southdown bus just like this in 1979. I remember the crash non-synchromesh manual gearbox which took some skill when changing gear. Mike passed the assesment. The last Queen Mary entered service with Southdown Motor Services in 1967. Southdown was later taken over by Scottish owned StageCoach based in Perth.
